Kara Dobson
Kara has a passion for working with seniors. Kara has a career spanning 25 years working in personal care, memory care, skilled nursing, and hospice care. Kara holds a master’s degree in social work from Marywood University. Most recently Kara led our sister community, Keystone Villa at Fleetwood, as the Executive Director for ten years.
While at home, Kara and her husband stay busy keeping up with their son and daughter running between golf matches, baseball games, basketball games, dance classes and piano lessons.
Kristine McAfee
Kristine McAfee brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, rooted in a strong foundation of healthcare. She began her career in the pharmaceutical industry, spending over a decade in marketing and business development before finding her passion for senior living 15 years ago.
Kristine combines her healthcare background and marketing expertise to help seniors and their families navigate one of life’s most meaningful transitions. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University and joined Keystone Villa at Douglassville in 2024 as Director of Sales and Marketing.
An active community leader, Kristine serves in several nonprofit leadership roles and is passionate about giving back. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three daughters. Her passion for people and service shines through in everything she does.
Steve Barcoski
Steve comes to Keystone Villa with 14 years of work experience in the construction and facilities maintenance industries. He has expertise across various trades including carpentry, electric and plumbing along with heating and air conditioning. He began with us in 2024 and has attained professional certificates from the University of Maryland in Construction Management, Environmental Project Management and Project Risk Management. He also holds OSHA Fire Safety and Fire Watch Training cards.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, he now resides in Boyertown, PA with his wife Jaclyn, sons Stephen and Austin along with their dog, Penny. When away from work he enjoys coaching, baseball, golf, supports all Philadelphia sports teams and prefers his cheesesteaks ‘Whiz Wit’.
